The Harren & Partner Group places special emphasis on basic and continuing education of their staff, since a qualified crew on board often secures a definite competitive advantage. Therefore our training courses including on-board practise lessons cover all nautical and technical aspects and meet international guidelines. Our in-house coaches train our staff in various fields, including job safety and cargo security. Thus, for instance, a two weeks’ campaign about safety and health took place this year, in the scope of which crews of our complete fleet developed methods and solutions to prevent accidents. Our staff’s consistently high degree of knowledge/skills reduces risks and promotes a smooth operation of the vessel – crew and cargo will reach their destination safely.

We also offer further target groups promising perspectives within our company: no matter whether for high school graduates, students or for experienced seafarers, for instance captains, leading engineers as well as nautical and technical officers.
